ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICE
For us, the archipelago, the Baltic Sea and nature are our top priority. We have great care and respect for the sea and the surrounding nature, and we encourage our guests to do the same. At our hotel, you will experience a unique environment where we protect and preserve these scenic areas. We invite you to join us in our commitment and enjoy all the amazing things the archipelago has to offer while protecting and preserving it for future generations.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICE
- The facility is partly heated by solar cells.
- We have low-energy lamps in our luminaires and presence-controlled lights in our toilets.
- We try to order from as few suppliers as possible to minimize transportation.
- Setting requirements for subcontractors to deliver environmentally friendly goods and services to us.
- We use fiber cloths and environmentally friendly cleaning products wherever possible.
- We use eco-friendly hair and skin products in our hotel rooms and larger containers for these that are replenished every few days.
- Using eco-labeled products in our operations wherever possible.
- We have installed a boat wash in our marina to reduce the handling of toxic paints when painting the bottom of the boat.
- We print as little as possible and sort the paper used.
- We turn off computers and other electrical appliances when not in use.
- We have minimized our use of disposable items.
- When we serve coffee and / or food, it is usually homemade and locally produced and vegetarian / vegan options are available.
- We grow some herbs on site.
- We have started to reduce plastic and are gradually replacing things with more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives.
- We deposit the cans and bottles we use.
- Consult with authorities and landowners on environmental issues.
ECONOMICS
We reuse and repair what can be repaired.
When we buy new, we buy quality so it lasts a long time and is easy to find spare parts.
SOCIAL
We try to employ staff locally, who are knowledgeable and passionate about telling guests and visitors about "their" Furusund. Offer staff accommodation to avoid long and frequent trips to and from work.
TO OUR GUESTS
